During the course of this term, we have, once again been able to set up a Basketball section after a break of six years. It has been quite a modest beginning, with about thirty members in three age groups, Under 14's, Under 15's and Over 15's.

There have been matches against Finchley Grammar, St. Gregory's, Kenton and teams from the South Ruislip American Air Base. It has been quite a successful beginning, considering our lack of experience and practice, and it seems that in the not too distant future we should meet with reasonable success, as practice makes perfect.

I am sure that all the boys will join with me in thanking Mr Martin for giving so much of his valuable time and effort in arranging these matches and putting basketball back on the school sporting curriculum.
