This event sponsored by Belmont School is over a course of 1¼ miles, and is run in the same way as a track relay. Each school enters a team of four boys from each year from the 1st. to the 5th. This year six schools took part, and we finished equal 4th.

I will not attempt to explain how this event is run, because it becomes rather involved, so if you want to know ask one of the runners.

Congratulations to all those who ran, especially to the four runners from the 5th. Form - Freeman, Collins, Woolford, and Rixon, who participated at short notice and in fact volunteered. Well done lads and thank you.
