This cup is competed for each year by the Fourth Teams of the Old Boys Clubs affiliated to the London Old Boys League. The Old Salvatorians are one of these clubs, and this year their fourth team is composed of boys who have either left school in the last two years or are still present at school. The Team also competes in the Harrow Youth League – Division L, and when they reach the age limit here, will pass on to take their places in one of the other three teams run by the Old Salvatorians. Reaching the final of the Competition was a very fine achievement indeed, and brought honour both to the club and the team.

Played at Hayes on March 31st. against Enfield Old Grammarians IV, the boys won 4 - 3, in a very exciting and memorable match. A goal up after 35 secs. they played delightful football throughout the match, and though careless mistakes resulted in three goals being scored against them, they always managed to keep ahead of their opponents. The score at half-time was 1 - 1, and the second half gave us five goals and many anxious moments. However, few would disagree with the result, and matches like this make football what it is - a great game for players and spectators alike.

Team: Murphy, B. Sugrue, F. Freeman, R. Gallagher, G. Sayer; O'Connor; O'Brien; Cummins; Payne; Dunn; Collins.
Goal scorers: Payne (2) Dunn; O'Brien.

IMPORTANT NOTE The Youth Team run by the Old Salvatorians F.C. is in need of new players. The majority of those now in the team will be over age by next season, so the future of this team depends on all those who like football, and are prepared to give back something in return for what the school has given them over the years. Whether a Youth Team is run next season depends on you. Please think it over and help us maintain the high traditions set by the present players.
