This meting was held on 17th July at Carreras Sports ground. Thirteen schools competed and the following boys represented the College:

Shanahan; Clubbe; Madden; O'Sullivan; Trusson; Flockton; Rea; O'Shea; Cummins; Silver; Handley; Fleming; Kemp; Paynter; Woolmer; Barrell; Murrell; Davis; Fagan; McDonald; O'Keefe; Joyce; Prevatt.

These boys achieved the following results:

Madden -	1st in the Boys High Jump 13-15, with a jump of 5'.0" which equalled the School record.
Fleming -	3rd in the Boys High Jump 11-15, with a jump of 4'. 0"
Clubbe -	2nd in the Boys 13-15 100 yds. 3rd in the Boys 13-15 220 yds and 440 yds.
Flockton -	2nd in the Boys 13-15 880 yds and 1 mile. Time in the 880 yds was 2 mins 20.9 secs. A new School record.
Cummins -	2nd in the 17-19 boys 1 Mile.
O'Sullivan -	3rd. in the Boys 17-19 100 yds.

In the Relays
      Boys 11-13, the School team finished 3rd.
      Boys 13-15, School team finished 2nd. in a very close finish - pipped at the post!

All who represented the School are to be congratulated on achieving this honour. All were required to give of their free time in order to compete in the heats, but I am certain that they did not regret it. Congratulations all round.
