Many think that the school day is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On a tour of the school at 6.30 this evening I found: 40 Teachers from Harrow schools at a Visual Aids meeting in the Physic Laboratory; the Craft Club busy in the Metalwork Shop; pregnant silence in 2A classroom - the Chess Club was in session; a Basket Ball match against Ealing was in progress in the Gym; a play practice was on in the Hall; the Printing Group were busy getting out the cards and programmes for the play; in the Staff Room 3 masters were busy correcting homework. |
