1 20 new tables delivered to Dining Hall today - a good start to the New Year.
6 We have a keen Staff at least 5 members of Staff called today.
7 School year opened. Mrs. Salmon joined the Staff to take Music.
8 Counting money! Concert and raffle run by boys totalled £62. We shall be able to take 2 handicapped boys to Lourdes. Deo Gratias.
22 The match against Sindlesham was cancelled due to fog.
23 Father Louis attended the funeral of Mr. Phaure - the father of four past pupils of the school.
24 F.S.C. held their A.G.M. tonight. New Crucifixes presented for the new classrooms.
27 Many think that the school day is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On a tour of the school at 6.30 this evening I found: 40 Teachers from Harrow schools at a Visual Aids meeting in the Physic Laboratory; the Craft Club busy in the Metalwork Shop; pregnant silence in 2A classroom - the Chess Club was in session; a Basket Ball match against Ealing was in progress in the Gym; a play practice was on in the Hall; the Printing Group were busy getting out the cards and programmes for the play; in the Staff Room 3 masters were busy correcting homework.
29 Fourth Form Parent/Teachers meeting in Library from 7 to 11.30 p.m.

7 F.S.C. Wine and Cheese Party.
12 FIRST HOCKEY WIN RECORDED TODAY against Royal Commercial Travellers.
17 Resuscitation display in Biology Lab.
20 Careers meeting at Harrow Technical College.
29 Dress Rehearsal for "Richard of Bordeaux".

5‑7 Annual School Play - a great success. "Medieval Minstrels", a special attraction.
17 F.S.C. Social in Hall.
20 Careers evening in Geography Room - address by Miss Cook, the Harrow Youth Employment Officer.
25 End of Spring Term.

22 Sports Quiz organised by the F.S.C. Many well-know personalities from the world of Sport - poor attendance.

5‑7 Harrow Youth Drama Festival, in Assembly Hall.
12 French Oral Examinations.
13 German Oral Examinations.
23 First Swimming Gala at Watford Baths - great evening.
30 Annual Garden Fete.
   
June  
5 Youth Pop Evening under the auspices of the Harrow Standing Conference of Youth Leaders.
10 SOLEMN BLESSING of the new extensions by His Grace Archbishop Heenan. Bishop Cashman; the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrow; the Governors and many representatives from the Schools, Borough and the Diocese.
13 Harrow Youth Athletics meeting.
22 G.C.E. Examinations begin.

4 Annual Sports Day at Moat Farm.
18 Hobbies Exhibition. O.S.A. presented prizes to best exhibitors.
23 End of School Year, DeoGratias.
