In the London Catholic Schools Cross Country at Wimbledon Common, a Junior and Senior team were entered. The course was a real cross country course, and these are conditions which the boys do not often meet, since our own course is mainly a road run. Under the circumstances, the results were good, though we have a lot of leeway to make up. In the Junior event, 26 schools took part over a course measuring 1.8 miles approx. The school finished 8th with a total of 153 points. Individual results: Fanning 11th, Lindsay 41st, Sullivan 49th, Byrne 52nd, Mulcahy 55th, O'Connor 114th.

In the Senior event, 22 schools competed over a course of approximately 2.9 miles. Here the school finished 12th with a total of 276 points. Individual results: Sheaff 63rd, Mangan 70th, McDonald 71st, Handley 72nd, O’Leary 73rd, Doyle 107th.

In the Harrow Schools Gross Country, our Junior team finished 2nd, out of nine schools, with a total of 40 points. Individual results: Fleming 5th., Lindsay 7th, Trusson 13th, McDonald 15th, Fanning 16th, Doyle 30th.

In the Senior event we finished last, owing to the fact that we had only four runners, whereas the normal number in a team is six. Individual results: Handley 15th, O'Leary 17th, Mangan 21st, Clubbe 40th.

Cross Country at Watford. We have been participating in this now for a number of years, and the results are as follows:

Junior Race. Cup retained with a total of 25 points. Individual results: Lindsay and O'Connor 1st, Sullivan 3rd, Fanning and Mulcahy 5th, J. Byrne 8th.

Senior Race. 2nd with 77 points. Individual results: Handley 6th, O’Leary 8th, Sheaff 12th, Mangan and McDonald 14th, Doyle 22nd.
