The Salvatorian Electronics society has been in existence for nearly a year now. Little has been done so far, because of lack of funds and an acute shortage of members, at one time there were less than ten members). Despite this, we are getting a little more publicity and we have 23 prospective members. We are still discussing plans on how to raise £4. 10. 0. the sum required for a government surplus receiver.

The purpose of the society is to provide a basic knowledge of radio and Morse. For people who want a further knowledge, we hope to be able to start a small library of books and magazines dealing with the many aspects of electronics.

We hope in time, to have a large, efficient and interesting body, sharing a common cause, that is: radio in particular, and electronics in general.
