The Sky

The Earth is a prison for us all,
And the sky is the prison wall.
It was built to hide the fate
Of men the creatures filled with hate.

The hideous crimes and thoughts of man
Will go unknown for as long as they can,
And the sky will stay with man till the end
Then the deeds of man only time can mend.

Nothing will survive,
No living thing will remain alive.
Within the blinking of an eye.
Everything with a will will die.

Then the sky will disappear,
We hope never to have to reappear;
There will be no joy nor sorrow,
And for men no tomorrow.
