The Bridge Club

The Bridge Club is, sad to say, still too small to permit the organisation that other School societies con keep up. At the moment it con only provide the use of a room with a certain degree of silence.

There are only two regular "fours", despite the high level of enthusiasm in the Lower Sixth, and an expansion into other forms is necessary if the club is to be preserved. The standard of play has improved beyond all recognition since last Autumn, and, though we have learnt the hard way in the main, we have received some valuable tips from Mr. Montgomery.

Our main need now is some contact with good players of our own age, perhaps in inter-school competition.
