Rugby is still a relatively new game to the Salvatorian College, but there is a good deal of support for it throughout the school. As the mayor remarked at Speech Day, it is a pity that rugby is still a "junior sport"; but the teams are now beginning to show very good form. The 1st XI won 11 games out of a total of 16, scoring well over 300 points, while conceding less than 200; this promises even better results in the coming season.

Since rugby enthusiasts on the editorial board outnumber adherents of lesser sports, it was thought wise not to risk being accused of giving rugby too much coverage - and as a result this game is again the victim of neglect. But we are sure that in next year's magazine, rugby will have the extensive coverage which it deserves!

A. Forward.
