Hockey

This last season has seen greater participation and effort from the first year upwards. Hockey is now regarded as a growing sport in the school, as is evident from the number of teams we now have.

The U13's, all beginners to the sport, took part in the L.S.H.A. Junior Festival at Ewell. Although they played well they did not have much success, while the results obtained by the U14's in the same festival were slightly better.

The U15's had only one game - away at Winchmore - which they lost, and the 1st. Xl finished with an even sheet, having won, drawn and lost a game.

Many thanks to Father Eric who has promoted hockey from the start, and who has devoted a lot of his spare time to training and organizing the matches. Also thanks to Mr. Woods, one of the parents, for his support and assistance in umpiring the games.
