I Like Swimming

I like swimming
Although I'm not much good
I don't know why I enjoy it,
I reckon I enjoy it because I like the water.
The thing I don't like,
Is supersonic waves,
Because they cover up your face
and block up your nose.

I also like diving, right down to the bottom
It is a sensational feeling
I can see the blue water
and other people's legs.
I cannot dive very far
But I kick my legs
So I can go much farther,
But not as far as anyone else.

I like the countryside
With it's greens and blues,
And all the cows grazing,
With wood-pidgeons in the wood.
The woods are dark and mysterious.
They have lots of trees.
Oak, birch, beech and pine,
All which are difficult to climb.
