Water

Swells on the oceans,
Lapping 'gainst the sea wall,
Dislocate particles which tumble into the void.

The limpets of life cling to their sanctuaries in the rock,
Oblivious to external existence,
They are in their own bubbles of life.

Water is life; life is only water.
