Under 15s Report

The U.15s had a rather unhappy season when little went right for them. Some of them found the going rather tough and failed to last the season. Those who continued to turn out regularly made up for what they might have lacked in skill by their spirit and endeavour. This surely is of more value - that lads were ready to play even though they knew that it was going to be hard. They are to be congratulated for the way in which they gave their support and kept the team going. Their record will not show this, but it must be looked at in this light, and not in the cold the cold light of figures only. The team lost to Harrow Weald in the local Cup, 6-0 in a replay, after a 0-0 draw. Neil Devery was the chief goal scorer with 21. Mr. Grogan is to be thanked for his efforts in after the team and for the encouraging support he gave them. He would be the first to admit that they did not let him down.
