Mortuus Est

Behold the Master! There
Blood-bright his hair,
Sweat from his brow;
But where art thou.
For your sins a-dying
yet none is crying
On him backs are turned
The Lord - his love spurned
The sun lost its light
That day of dread night
When Mary's last tear
Was wrung by spear
