The Society was revived during the Christmas term under the wing of a new member of staff. The
Society inherited a few decrepit pieces of equipment but it was obvious that they were of no
functional ability. The reequipping of the darkroom was made possible by the kindness of the
Friends of Salvatorian. They financed the purchase of; an Omega B600 black and white enlarger
complete with colour head, an Omega Pro-Lab timer, a Durst developing tank, a Jobo colour tank
and various other 'bits' such as trays, forceps and a thermometer.
Since it took a considerable length of time to obtain the equipment the society has only just
begun to take the opportunity to learn how to handle everything. Nevertheless, we have managed
to produce sufficient material to include in this issue a few examples of our work.
One of our members has enrolled on an external photographic course and we hope to see some of
his work in future issues.
