Blackout

One day it happened,
The light went out.
There was nothing left
There was no one about.

Our Sight had left
We were all behind
We could see nothing
But what was in our mind

All we could believe
Was all we heard
And all we heard
Was not a single word.

It was all movement
Sound was sharpened
I had been left without,
I could not see.
