Essays, essays all the time
Are they ever going to stop?
Every time I have to write one
It's always bound to flop!
"No essay today boys", the teacher cries,
"Today just for a change
You can write a poem for the magazine".
Gosh! What a nice surprise
"I want you to write an appreciation",
The teacher says with glee,
"And as a small consolation
You can write it just for me!"
