Fog

The clapping of water, a grey cloud in front of my face.
Closer, closer.
I am getting closer to the water.
The sudden blow of a horn, and
Shouting of men make me jump.
I wonder where I am in this big grey cloud.
A small faint light in the distance.
I walk towards it to find out what it is.
I stumble over a rock and graze my forehead.
I put my hands out in front of me,
To feel where I am going, I pick
up a rock and lob it ahead of me.
Smash! A milk bottle falls to the
ground. I run, faster, faster.
