Kids
Reluctant children crawl,
like the 4.15 - to bed.
They know only darkness and hate;
Abandoned as infants.
Now who wants them?
Like the reject department of Harrods;
Robots with a fault.
Imperfect, damaged, or just not the right sex.
As the morning draws in, still darkness for them,
As always.
