Morning Mist

People say that you love me,
But I don't know the truth,
Wondering always blinds me,
It's really up to you.
The morning mist surrounds us,
There's tears in your eyes,
But crying won't solve anything,
It's time we said goodbye.

I'm leaving here tomorrow
On the five o'clock train.
We can spend the day together,
Because I won't see you again.
You can dry the tears from your eyes now,
And live upon your dreams.
The gifts of life are flowing
Throughout the mountain streams.

Standing here on the platform,
Before the train departs,
I'll remember the special moments
That will always stay in my heart,
And to you my love as we depart now,
And as the sun begins to set,
I'll remember you as the morning mist
A word I'll never forget.
