Football - Senior XI
This was our first year as a High School - with no 6th form players for the team, and as an
experiment it was decided to try to keep to the same fixtures the school has had for many years.
Unfortunately, the experiment failed and the Senior team suffered many crushing defeats. This
present 5th year had only just enough players to find a team, and once injuries hit we had no
reserves to call upon. In matches where we found ourselves on fairly even footing with the
opposition we managed to acquit ourselves well, but most games were with the strong sides of
the Middlesex Senior League and they were just too strong for us.
Next season's programme will have to be altered to find us opposition that we can equal.
