Swiss Trip 65-66

As adolescent boys we found it very funny that the ski resort nearby was called Pizol. We were taken there for one day and the better skiers took some test. It was a beautiful sunny day unlike the next year I read. The bright clean white snow shone in the clear Alpine air. What an orderly people the Swiss are not a bit of litter anywhere.

The Hotel had kindly prepared packed lunched for us. Rather than sitting down we all wandered about in the snow eating the lunch. Unfortunately, they had packed some of that disgusting pink coloured Danish 'almost' salami. This did not go down well. So one by one each boy dropped his two pink slices onto the snow. At the end of the meal there was a large area on the snow dotted with pink salami slices. Even 'not stoned' it was a very surreal sight. I think if I had had a joint at that point it would have blown my mind.
