Fire Bell

When we skipped lessons we used to set of the bell to indicate the end of class early, by carefully unscrewing the fire glass outside the music room (at the top of the stairs above the changing rooms). This would allow us to get all the school out before lunch 10 minutes early.

Nobody ever discovered what was wrong with the automatic clock in control of the end of lesson bell!
