Salvo Shows The Way!

I think it's about time to redress the balance and give an alternative, more positive, view on Salvo's influence on not just our lives but the workings of the nation.

I came across these two interesting facts:

1. (Sunday Times, 25/6/00) More people in this country are now employed in Indian restaurants than in the coal, steel and ship building industries combined.

How many people do you know who went to Salvo that are employed in the coal, steel or ship building industries? I bet the school has done more for Indian cuisine.

2 (Radio 5, 27/6/00) Mathematics has been the worst taught subject in schools for the last 30 years.

We can justifiably be proud to have attended an establishment at the very vanguard of this educational trend under the guidance of some of the greatest pioneers.
