Fr Alban Anderton was a kindly though strict man, and an accomplished artist. In the garden of the Wealdstone community house, there is, I think, a statue of Our Lady of Christleton made by Fr Alban to commemorate the silver jubilee of ordination of Fr Richard Sullivan SDS (a family friend of mine).
