I remember Bramwell due to his bizarre method of determining whether you got a good report or not. In our first lesson with him, he said that if you did a good piece of work or behaved well in class, you would receive 'one tick'. Any bad work or messing about, and you would get 'one X'. This lead to the scores being read out every Physics lesson (i.e. Connors, you have two ticks and five X's).

He was also an expert with a Slinky (or Salinky as he used to pronounce it).
