Once in the third year in RE, taken by Mr Corey, we were asked to bring in records of a religious nature. Someone (can't remember who ...) brought in 'Je t'aime' By Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg. Corey put it on and walked slowly to the back of the class, turned round and walked slowly back. The intro is of course rather long, and as he reached the record player there was just a 'Je' before he took it off with a comment like 'I don't think we really want to hear that'. It was a masterpiece of timing, and I can only assume that he was, surprisingly, familiar with that classic.
