The teacher I remember most vividly from my days at Salvo was the biology teacher Mrs. Flanagan.

When the 1978 spring term started, we were most amazed when this attractive young woman stepped into our biology lesson and announced that she was our new biology teacher. She was around 30, with an attractive face framed by shoulder length light brown hair, wearing a tight, high neck sweater, tight black trousers and high heel boots. She made an immediate impact on a group of about twenty 15 year old adolescents. I had never seen so many attentive boys in a biology, or any other, lesson before. I seem to remember that not many people were absent when it was biology.
