She was my form teacher in the third year. The black and white photo probably does not do justice to her Bohemian attire. It is a rare quality in a woman that no two articles of clothing match (I think she also came with 'non-matching' accessories).

Stranger than strange ... the film the 'Memphis Belle' includes one scene where one of the crew is reciting some poetry, while waiting to go on an 'Op'. I was able to accompany the actor word for word (and he missed out a verse) as a result of a punishment she dished out where we had to commit the poem to memory over the weekend (not that she ever tested us) ... so school wasn't an entire waste of time!
