King always wore a scarf and perhaps a burgundy coloured jacket. he also had mid length hair and a beard, an example of another teacher who would enjoy putting people down in such a personal way as to totally crush them, and if that didn’t work the physical violence was never ruled out as an option.

By the way I remember Mr. King, a large bushy man (a bit like Hagrid for those who have seen Harry Potter. I can imagine that he'd come from a harder area. He was a cool dude and controlled the class without resorting to punishment as far as I can remember.
