Mrs Tanner the French teacher was actually French, young, tasty and married to an Englishman. She played a French tart in the school production of Oh! What a Lovely War, wearing a very tight low cut sweater, a tight satin skirt split well up the side, and stockings.
It was, as I remember, the one school show which we attended in droves without being threatened with awful consequences if we failed to show up. |
